West Gate Bank Promotes Katie Mendoza

Katie Mendoza joined West Gate Bank in 2007 as a Teller at our 27th and Cornhusker Highway location. During her tenure with West Gate Bank, she has served as a Personal Banker, Assistant Branch Manager and most recently as Vice President, Branch Manager at the West Gate Bank Center location. With her promotion to Lincoln Retail Market Manager, Mendoza will lead the Lincoln Retail team. Her responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring, as well as staffing and hiring decisions for the Lincoln branches.

Mendoza is a member of the Junior Achievement Young Professionals Board and serves on the Nebraska Banking Association General Banking Advisory Committee. She is a recent graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin where she received a Certificate of Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional and Executive Development.
