- Every deposit is password-protected and highly encrypted
- To make a Mobile Check Deposit, open the West Gate Bank Mobile Banking App and select "Deposit". Endorse your check with "For Mobile Deposit Only at WGB" and all payee signatures. Enter the check amount and take a picture of the front and back sides of the check. After confirming the details, tap "Submit".
What are the Mobile Check Deposit terms of use?
You must be enrolled in Online Banking and Mobile Banking to use Mobile Check Deposit. Terms of use are:
- Deposits may take up to 3 business days to be available
- Deposit cutoff time is 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any business done after 6:00 p.m. will be processed the next business day. Any business done after 6pm on Friday is processed as Monday's business. Please verify the deposit is not pending before trying to deposit the check again. Duplicating deposits will result in a $50 per transaction fee.

Do I have to enroll in Mobile Check Deposit?
No. If you are a Mobile Banking user, Mobile Check Deposit will automatically be available.
How will I know my deposit has been posted to my account?
Once the image of your check has been received, you will see a "pending" status of the deposit on your mobile device. This simply means a good image has been captured. It does not, however, imply the deposit has been made. You will want to check your account within 72 hours to verify the deposit has been posted.
How long should I keep the physical check used in Mobile Check Deposit?
We recommend you retain the original check in a secure place until it has posted to your account. After the check posts, the check should be shredded.
I have a small business. Can I use Mobile Check Deposit to deposit checks?
Yes. You may use Mobile Check Deposit on those accounts that are linked to the Mobile Banking application. Terms listed above will apply.

Yes, depositing checks with Mobile Check Deposit is safe and secure. Every deposit you make is password protected and highly encrypted.
